TV does not recognize ethernet powerline ?

hello,

I have a Bush TV with an ethernet connection - until now it has been working off wi-fi through Amazon Firestick.
I have bought some powerline adapters - but, though the light next to the ethernet connection on the TV flashes when I insert the cable (so I assume it's working OK), the TV still seems to be working through the wi-fi as no 'wired network' option appears.


Please help.
